Right from the initial enquiry, Alice was so attentive to our vision of our wedding. She put so much in place, directed us to and liaised with a quality photographer, make-up artist, registrar and anything else we needed. All her correspondence was near enough instantaneous and clear. Even from the planning stage it was exactly how we envisaged our wedding to be – stress-free.

Our wedding could not have been more perfect. We had 16 guests and every single one has commented how beautiful the location is and how well looked after we all were. Nothing was too much trouble for Alice she is wonderful and also her team made our stay amazing.

From the moment we first made contact with Alice, we knew we were making the right choice, and despite only booking 8 weeks in advance, Alice ensured everything was meticulously planned, making it an enjoyable and stress free experience!

From the get go Alice was absolutely amazing in getting everything organised for us, there was literally no stress involved. Any queries they answered so quickly and put us in touch with the most amazing photographer. When we first arrived we were welcomed so warmly and after this year it was just a breath of fresh air.

From the day we first emailed Alice, (mid lockdown in 2020) she has been the most amazing wedding planner! Replying to our endless questions and constant messages during the pandemic…we honestly couldn’t have asked for any more! We got married due to the pandemic in a much smaller wedding than originally planned, but Alice helped us to include our families at home and accommodated out every request!

Alice is a true pro and head and shoulders above the other options we considered. There are so many ways she contributed to our day, big and small, and we’ll be forever grateful. She perfectly strikes the balance between creating a once-in-a-lifetime wedding day and ensuring everything runs like clockwork – from the marriage paperwork to the registrar, flowers, cutting cake, and anything else you might need. She is by far one of the most organised and efficient people I’ve ever met, which put us completely at ease when planning our very short-notice wedding!

After deciding that 2020 would be the year we tied the knot we contacted and began discussing our ideas with the incredible Alice. Our only criteria was calm, and stress free which was delivered on every front. I can honestly say she handled everything, perfectly, gracefully and promptly. She made fantastic recommendations, and nothing was too big or too small. 

I can’t thank Alice, and the whole team at Lodge enough for everything they have done for Daan and I over the past two years.

We honestly don’t know where to start with Alice, she is fantastic! There is nothing this woman can’t do, or won’t do for you, from getting you into your dress to making you laugh until you cry.
